Our goal is to help people who have lost
limbs to restore their quality of life.
Highly
motivated, healthy individuals with prostheses can achieve many extraordinary
accomplishments (e.g., skydiving, mountain climbing, triathlon, returning to
work or active duty). Whether the prosthesis is used only for basic mobility or
for high-effort activities, it has enormous psychological benefits.
PROSTHETICS FOR
UKRAINIANS
Our current project
is Prosthetics for Ukrainians. The goal of the project is to help Ukrainian children,
soldiers and civilians who have lost their limbs during the war to get free quality prosthetics
in the USA.
Today, thousands of soldiers, as well as civilian adults and children, are left
without homes, without their families, and lost their limbs as a result of
hostilities in Ukraine.
MAIN GOALS OF THE PROJECT
Free prosthetics for those who lost their limbs as a
result of the war. We cover all financial needs for a
person to get prosthetics: visa fees, lodging, and the
prosthetics. Once in the USA our volunteers host patients and
help with basic orientation, logistics and psychological
support.
Psychological support and emotional recovery of
victims. The change in environment gives new emotions
and helps to shift focus away from problems and accelerate the
recovery.
Unite as many people as possible to help victims of
war. We are very grateful to all the caring volunteers,
partners, and patrons who already participate in the project.
Without you, the goals of "Prosthetics for Ukrainians" would be
unattainable.
Our immediate goal is to raise 1.5M to help at least the first 100 Ukrainian children, soldiers and
civilians.
